Road trains in Australia are trucks where the tractor pulls not just one trailer but two or even three. The trailers carry oil, machinery, or general commodities to remote areas. When on the highway within these remote areas, or traveling to them, where the speed limit is 110 kilometers, it can be quite intimidating to pass such a large stretch of road space. To pass them safely and efficiently, drive behind with a good amount of distance until you can see the road ahead is clear to drive on the other side ofthe road. Start to speed up before you start to pass the truck and then hold your breath until you are in front of the truck and back on the right aka left hand side of the road. Just kidding. It's kinda a tip. And when driving at night, get in the passenger seat and hope someone else will drive.
