"The preparation of good food is merely another expression of art, one of the joys of civilized living…" — Dione Lucas

I find it funny that many people, myself most definitely included, like to buy, peruse, and use cook books that have stunning, mouth-watering, food-porn photographs as aspirations to their culinary skills and endeavors however, restaurants that display pictures of dishes are usually downright off putting. It's as though there is some astounding difference in having a visual of what you make versus what you are paying for someone else to make for you.

would you walk past this restaurant or would you want to know what the
pizza is supposed to look like if you made it at home?
