"Voulez vous coucher avec moi, ce soir?" "oui, croissant."

emily, carey and i were randomly selected (thank you, asher) to move out of the hostel and into one of the houses in the little town built into the rocks, pentedallio. i was perfectly happy in the hostel, but welcomed the chance to get to know emily and carey better as well as a chance to see something new. the village was adorable. we barely saw a soul other that wasn't part of UNISG. the reason that there was an extra house to move into was because the bus driver decided to go to his home every night and would rather drive the extra time every morning and every night rather than stay in this house. and clearly i would've made the same decision. first, the door was impossible to open, but by the end of the trip emily had it knackered. the downstairs was an empty room filled with ceramic artwork. the upstairs housed a ginormous rock protruding from the surrounding mountain into the room. there was a little kitchen area, a bathroom inhabited by little critters that was a clear indication it was hardly ever used, three small windows and two outlets. it really wasn't that bad, and could have been a step up from the hostel, if only it had hot water, no bugs, and no dampness. nothing was dry. i wish i took a picture of the inside, but the outside was cute. and on the steps, we invited the other students over to celebrate nanae's birthday and then we all moved to sung's and sandro's fully furnished house across the little street.
